Our instructors are experienced musicians and many are active performers and members of professional organizations such as the Music Teachers' Association of California. All of the teachers are selected for their educational background, professional accomplishments, and teaching experience. As a result, our teachers provide quality instruction over a wide curriculum for all ages and musical styles.

Poway Guitar Lessons with Bruce Harvey are fun and customized to the level and needs of the individual student from a Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Pre-professional or the College Bound Music Major. Bruce has over 30 years of experience at all levels of teaching and performing, as well as a proven tract record of alumni guitar students who have gone on to become professional or entered a specialized music academy. Bruce inspires students to excel and guides each student to achieve their musical potential.
Bruce Harvey began guitar studies at the age of eleven. He is a graduate of California State University Northridge and he spent two years in Spain studying Spanish guitar styles. He holds a California Community College Teaching Credential and taught for several years at Santa Rosa Community College.
Bruce formed the Contemporary Flamenco group, Del Mundo, with renowned Japanese guitarist, Shigeru Miyoshi. Del Mundo has been an established Southern California band for fifteen years and has released three albums. In addition to Del Mundo, Bruce Harvey is the lead guitarist for the Latin dance band, La Prima Lejana. He is also active as a solo guitarist, performing a mixture of classical, jazz, popular and contemporary flamenco styles.
